Women of the Word (W.O.W.)

Join the ladies monthly for  "W.O.W."  (Women of the Word)!  This newly formed Women’s Bible Study currently meets once a month, on the second Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m. in the church library.  The classes are single study sessions, so you can drop in when it works into your schedule.  No assignment before class or homework after.  If you have questions, contact Patti Niswonger at pniswonger@yahoo.com.  Join us as we continue adding Christ into our daily lives.

"Cross of Christ Reads!" Book Club

If you like to read, Cross of Christ Reads! Book Club meets in the church library once a month, on the fourth Monday, at 2:30 p.m. for fellowship and discussion over that month's literary selection. Any questions, contact Patti Niswonger at pniswonger@yahoo.com. Come one, come all!     

LWML

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is the women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We act out our faith through local ministerial projects and the gathering of “mites” - small change that we collect, which over the years has totaled to millions of dollars to support mission projects all over the world.

Locally, the Cross of Christ LWML chapter meets for quilting every Tuesday, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. These quilts are sent around the world in the wake of natural disasters and other great needs.

Any women in the church is also invited to join us at our quarterly gatherings. Check your monthly calendars or weekly bulletin announcements for additional details. On the first weekend of the month, at both the Saturday and Sunday worship services, we turn in our "Mites".  

Summer “Son” Flower Garden

Do you like gardening? Our summer garden is always open to having help and volunteers to help maintain, water, and nurture our flowers and crops! For more information, contact Nyssa Hunt (email nyssa.r.hunt@gmail.com) to get more involved.

We are looking for a volunteer to be in charge of our Church newsletter.  Our newsletters have the most complete updates for all activities coming up in the daily life of Cross of Christ.  If you are a member interested in helping with something like this, please contact the church office for more info.
